Mr Siva Sai Theja

Resident Assistant Tembusu College National University of Singapore

Theja is a third-year undergraduate studying Business Analytics with a specialisation in Financial Analytics. He has been an avid car-enthusiast for as long as he can remember, so if you are interested in cars too, please hit him up (He needs more car lover friends)!

Theja has passionately served as a marketing subcommittee member during his first year. He has had great fun negotiating with vendors for tCard deals and hosting the bi-semesterly tShops for Tembusians to pick up their new fancy merchandise! Along with this, he has also served as the 12th CSC Vice-President, where he has played an instrumental role in contributing to the student life within the college and was also the project director for TWW2022. Outside of the College, he has also been a part of the NUS Fintech Society under the Machine Learning department, where he immerses himself in the latest technical research that the field of ML has to offer.

During his free time (which he rarely has), you can spot him watching either Billions, a Quentin Tarantino movie (ping me if you like his works too), or the latest reality TV show on Netflix. Even if he seems engrossed in either one of these shows, feel free to interrupt him to talk about anything at all, his doors are always open and he’s always available to lend a listening ear. See you around!

The Tembusu (Fagraea fragrans) is a large evergreen tree in the family Gentianaceae. It is native to Southeast Asia. Its trunk is dark brown, with deeply fissured bark, looking somewhat like a bittergourd. It grows in an irregular shape from 10 to 25m high. Its leaves are light green and oval in shape. Its yellowish flowers have a distinct fragrance and the fruits of the tree are bitter tasting red berries, which are eaten by birds and fruit bats.
