Almost every week, members of Tembusu College are invited to meet and chat with guests – both local and international – through a variety of hosted events. As a Residential College, residents of Tembusu College live and learn together with their peers under the same roof. Integral to the learning is the University Town College Programme (UTCP) where residents read five Seminar-style Modules over their two year residency. Student’s Tea with Mr Seelan Palay

Mr Palay is the Communications and Outreach Coordinator of EngageMedia, a regional non-profit media, technology and culture organisation that uses ethical and inclusive methodologies to empower marginalised communities. Mr Palay is an artist, filmmaker and activist who has organised numerous exhibitions, forums and workshops to raise awareness and encourage positive change in the region. ‘Papuan Voices’ is one of the many human rights and environmental projects that EngageMedia assists through the harnessing of old and new media.
Highlights:
Through the screening of ‘Papuan Voices’, we will explore the power of film, the Internet and open technologies in creating social and environmental change. Join us as we unfold the perspectives of the marginalised through their self-directed short films.
