Jiong How is a first-year postgraduate student reading MA Contemporary Southeast Asia. He was a resident in Tembusu college for three years while completing his undergraduate studies in the Geography department. Since 2020, he has been a Geography and Social Studies teacher in a secondary school. He is excited to return to Tembusu to serve as a Graduate Fellow, and explore his academic interests in a region he is deeply fascinated by.
Jiong How previously trained as a professional coach in triathlon, ultrarunning and track and field, and still competes as an endurance athlete in the vertical kilometer discipline. His diverse background and life experiences shape a holistic approach to education and sports development—helping students and athletes build a healthy balance between school, sport, and life.
